Delock 95228 (Mini-PCIe to Gigabit LAN Adapter)
Review of Linux Compatibility
The Delock 95228 is a adapter that is connected as a Mini-PCI-Express card (full size) and provides one Gigabit Ethernet connector. The Gigabit Ethernet connector is located on a slot cover plate for external access.
The adapter bases on the Jmicron JMC250B chipset and is fully supported under Linux e.g. at least since OpenSuse 12.1 (kernel 3.1.0).
To access the Jimicron chipset a Linux driver is provided by the manufacturer, which can be downloaded via FTP (ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/Ethernet/Linux/) or from its Git repository http://bbs.cooldavid.org/git/?p=jme.git.
After downloading the driver it can be unpacked
tar -jxf jmebp-126.96.36.199.tar.bz2
sudo make install
Afterwards, the created kernel modul jme can be loaded by:
sudo modprobe -r jme && modprobe jme
