The microscope has 8 LEDs for illumination and according to its packaging a maximal resolution of 2 Megapixel (1600×1280 Pixel). It is supported under Linux since at least Ubuntu 11.10 (i.e. Linux kernel 2.6.27) by the Linux module uvcvideo. However, the maximal resolution that is supported by uvcvideo under Linux is limited to 640×480 pixel.
