  • sl1pkn07 says:

what is the max DPI get on linux for this model?

    in Sane page say this:

GL124 based, resolution from 75 to 2400 dpi

    but the model 200 say:

GL847 based, resolution from 75 to 4800 dpi

According of Canon, the model 210 is a update of model 200 (more resolution and fast scan), but Sane says have less max resolution

this model gets in linux 4800dpi or 2400dpi?

    greetings

  • Teddi says:

I have a new canoscan lide210. It comes with installation software for wondows and mac. Do I ignore that software and just use the sane app?

Any help greatly appreciated. I’m new to this.

    • LHG-Team says:

The Windows and Mac installation software will not be usable if you want to use the Lide 210 under Linux. You have to use Sane in order to access the scanner.
