Review of Linux Compatibility
The Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1100 PCI card is equipped with a analog and with a DVB-T tuner. There are several version of this card with the model numbers 94xxx, 67019 and 67209. All of the versions are supported by Linux since Ubuntu 11.04.
The models 67019 and 67209 need additional firmware files dvb-fe-tda10046.fw and dvb-fe-tda10048-1.0.fw, respectively. These firmware files can be installed in Ubuntu as part of the package “linux-firmware-nonfree”.
