In outdated distributionen the Ethernet chipset (RTL8111/8168B) can cause trouble. In this situation the Realtek Linux drivers from the Realtek homepage have to be used. In latest distributions the Ethernet chipsatz is automatically supported by the kernel modul r8169.o.

The NVIDIA graphic chipset “GT218 [GeForce 210]” is supported by the Open Source driver nouveau as well as by the NVIDIA own Eigenen proprietary driver nvidia.

    very unstable with ubuntu 14.04
    with changing bios also unstable
    the new bios is vers F3 05/28/2015 id 8A02BG10
    The proc is amd fx-6350 Six Core Pr
    With ubuntu 16.04 the the unstability is even greater. It makes the system unusable. I can’t install the printer (usb) !

    Jim’s comment is EXACTLY correct to get the Ethernet to work. I spent countless hours on this trying to find solutions from others. This is the only solution that worked, and worked well. MB is not directly compatible without these specific tweaks.

    This board has crappy BIOS. There are multiple revisions — on mine, Rev 4.0,
    with the latest BIOS version (currently F2), I need to do the following to make USB 3.0 and network both work: enable IOMMU in BIOS, but disable IOMMU on the linux command line with “iommu=soft”. This is with Debian kernel 3.11-1-amd64.
