Revisión de Compatibilidad con Linux

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Q190 is a compact, in large parts Linux compatible desktop PC. The PC was tested with Ubuntu 12.10 and the Linux kernel of version 3.5.0-23. Unfortunately, the WiFi chipset used in the IdeaCentre Q190 is not yet supported by Linux.

WiFi

The WiFi chipset used in the IdeaCentre Q190 bases on the RTL8188E. This chipset is not yet supported by older Linux version (see open bug report). However, a support for this chipset is envisaged for Linux kernel version 3.10.

Until now, the chipset is not recognized by the kernel:

Ethernet

Alternatively, the Desktop PC has to be connected with an USB WiFi dongle or by the available Gigabit Ethernet port:
