Review of Linux Compatibility
The Planex BT-Micro3H2X is a USB stick which includes Bluetooth Ver.3.0 including HighSpeed as well as WiFi IEEE802.11n in one device. The stick is identical to the one with the name BTA7300 that is sold by the brand Cirago.
Bluetooth as well as wireless are fully supported by Linux. Both components are identified as separate USB devices by the Kernel. The WiFi adapter has the USB ID 2019:1201
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 2019:1201 PLANEX
and bases on a Realtek chipset, which is controlled by the Linux Kernel module rtl819x.
The Bluetooth dongle has the USB ID 0a12:0001
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
and is supported under Linux by the bluez tools, which can be installed in Debian based distributions by:
sudo apt-get install bluez
