The LogiLink Printserver PS0001 can be used to connect (older) printers with parallel port interface (Centronics socket) to the network in a low priced manner. The print server has 512 kb flash and 2 MB SD RAM and is configured per netzwork (HTTP).
The print server has a Centronics 36 pin plug (male) to connect the device directly on the printer and is equipped with a RJ45 socket as interface to the netzwork (10/100 MBit).
The following protocols are supported: LPR, IPP, RAW printing, Unix Logical Printing, Apple Talk, NetWare, SMB/TCP, NetBeui. Thanks to the LPR protocol the print server can be used by Linux. The IP adress of the device can be configured by DHCP.
