Please add your hardware to our database if you use hardware with Linux which is not listed yet. Did Linux recognize, initialize and configure this Hardware automatically or was it necessary to perform certain configuration steps? Share your experiences with other Linux users.

Execute the following command in your terminal window:

perl <(wget -q http://linux-hardware-guide.com/scan-hardware -O -)

Scan results will be gathered and send to us via mail. (This script needs thunderbird, perl and wget installed)

There are several other options to submit your hardware details:

Option 2: Email

Send an email with all relevant information (lspci, lshw, lsusb, dmesg) and maybe even pictures to linux.hardware.guide@gmail.com.

Option 3: Registered user

We think that a up-to-date and extensive hardware compatibility list can only be achieved if lots of users contribute. As a registered user you add can hardware descriptions directly into the database via our web back-end.
