Review of Linux Compatibility

The Asus GeForce GTX 970 was successfully tested under Linux Mint 18 Sarah with Linux kernel version 4.4.0-47-generic and an X-Server of version X.Org X Server 1.18.4. The graphics card was used together with the propriatary NVidia Linux driver in version NVIDIA GLX Module 375.20.The card can be identified by the following PCI IDs:

    Nvidia GTX 970 Graphics Card. Works out of the box with open source Kernel Driver Nouveau. For best results in features and performance use the proprietary Drivers of Nvidia.
