Review of Linux Compatibility

The Firesteon Audio RedKey USB Translator 96k converts USB audio signals into S/PDIF. Is is automatically recognized (plug-and-play) by ALSA and Pulseaudio. Pure ALSA has the better sound quality, which is quite good in this configuration. The stick is equipped with a good DAC and a USB isolator. It uses golden USB and coaxial plugs.

The stick has the USB ID 1852:7022

and is automatically recognized and fully supported by the Linux kernel:
