OKI C301dn (Color Laser Printer, LED, Duplex, A4, 1200 x 600 dpi)
Review of Linux Compatibility
The OKI C301dn is a color laser printer. This printer uses the HIPERC protocol, which is not very well supported under Linux. At least, an experimental driver exists at foo2hiperc.rkkda.com. However, this driver is normally not part of the standard Linux distributions and needs to be downloaded and compiled from the driver homepage. A detailed explanation about the installation is given there.
The driver is still in development status and limited to 4MB per page for mono and 16MB per page for color printouts.
