The Brother HL-1250 is a monochrome laser printer with USB connection and USB ID 04f9:0007:

The printer is fully supported under Linux thanks to the Gutenprint Linux driver or the
standard PCL-5e printer driver.

The printer is automatically recognized by the Linux kernel if connected via USB:

usbcore: registered new interface driver usblp
