Review of Linux Compatibility
The CEL Robox RBX01 can also be used under Linux and is connected via USB. The 3D printer has the USB ID 16d0:081b.
The so called “AutoMaker” software is also available for Linux (32 bit and 64 bit). A recent NVidia graphics card and the proprietary Nvidia driver is needed to start the AutoMaker software under Linux.
The latest version of the AutoMaker software can be downloaded at http://www.cel-robox.com/downloads/.
A developer community has evolved around the roboxing.com homepage. There, some installation advices regarding the Automaker software are provided for Debian bases Linux distributions (e.g. Ubuntu): http://roboxing.com/automaker_linux_x64.
