Review of Linux Compatibility

The Sony Playstation Eye is a USB webcam, which is intended to be used with together with a Sony Playstation3. However, this webcam can also be used under Linux.

The webcam is connected via USB and has the USB ID 1415:2000

The Playstation Eye is automatically supported under Linux by the kernel module gspca_ov534.ko
