Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI (Mainboard, Socket FM2+, A88X, 2x DDR3)
Review of Linux Compatibility
The FA-F2A88XN-WiFi is a Mini ITX mainboard with FM2+ Socket. The mainboard bases on the AMD A88X chipset and provides Gigabit LAN, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, 2x DDR3-RAM, and 4x SATA 6Gb/s ports.
The GA-F2A88XN-Wifi was tested under Xubuntu 14.04 with an AMD A8 6500T. All components (including onboard Bluetooth and WiFi) are automatically recognized and work without manual driver installation.
The WiFi works under Xubuntu 14.04 with a bandwidth of 54MB/s only, although dualband would allow allow higher bandwidth. Unfortunately, for the AC WiFi chipset the full bandwidth is not yet supported by the Linux kernel.
