Review of Linux Compatibility
The ZTE MF 667 is a USB mobile broadband modem, which supports connections via HSPA+, HSUPA, HSDPA, UMTS (2100/850 MHz), EDGE, GPRS, GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz). Furthermore, it has in Micro SD Slot, which can be used for micro SD cards with up to 32 GB.
The device has been seen in a broad variety of implementations, with at least the following USB IDs:
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 19d2:1405 ZTE WCDMA Technologies MSM Bus 001 Device 003: ID 19d2:1232 ZTE WCDMA Technologies MSM Bus 004 Device 006: ID 19d2:2000 ZTE WCDMA Technologies MSM
The stick is automatically recognized under Linux (e.g. Ubuntu 13.04)

In addition to the MMC storage memory device (for the internal SD card) a Ethernet device is created, by the “cdc_ether” kernel module. This device allows to connect to the stick over the network via a web browser and configure the ZTE MF 667 (similar to the configuration of the network router).
The connection provided by the ZTE MF 667 is not very stable and several Linux users complain about connection losses while using this device (see bug report).
