Review of Linux Compatibility

The Gigabyte Brix GB-BXi7-4770R is a mini PC with Intel Core i7 processor. The PC is fully supported under Linux. All its components are automatically recognized under Ubuntu 14.04.


If an older Linux/Ubuntu version is used, the WiFi chipset can cause troubles already during the installation process (error message “file corruption” can happen) An up-to-date Linux distribution should be installed in this case.


Sound is automatically supported by the snd_hda_intel kernel module:
