Review of Linux Compatibility

The Sansun SN-520 is a USB webcam with gooseneck. The webcam has the USB ID 0c45:608f:

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0c45:608f Microdia PC Camera (SN9C103 + OV7630)

and is recognized automatically under Linux (e.g. Ubuntu 12.10):

usb 2-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4
usb 2-3: SN9C103 PC Camera Controller detected (vid/pid 0x0C45/0x608F)
usb 2-3: OV7630 image sensor detected
usb 2-3: Initialization succeeded
usb 2-3: V4L2 device registered as /dev/video0
usb 2-3: Optional device control through 'sysfs' interface ready

However, the webcam is not fully supported. A vide4linux2 device /dev/video0 is created by the uvcvide kernel driver but the video image provided by the device is broken.
