Ricoh Aficio SP C240DN (Color Laser Printer, 2400×600 dpi, Ethernet , USB 2.0)
Review of Linux Compatibility
The Ricoh SP C240DN is a color laser printer, which is connected via Ethernet or USB.
The Rico SP C240DN is a GDI printer, which uses the CPU of the PC for printing, i.e. for data preprocessing before a Raw image is sent to the printer. This printer does not accept PCL, PostScript, or HPGL data. Therefore, a so called DDST driver is necessary for this printer, which does not exist for Linux so far. Therefore, it is currently not possible to use the Ricoh SP C240DN under Linux.
