I-TEC LAN2RS232 (RS232 Device Server Adapter, 1x RJ-45, 1x DB-9)
Review of Linux Compatibility
The I-Tec LAN2RS232 is a adapter in form of a network controlled server, which provides a serial port. Devices connected to the serail port can be controlled over the network.
For this adapter no Linux software is available to access. Normally, virtual serial ports have to be created on the Linux system and to access the hardware connected to the device server. There is currently no driver to create such virtual serial ports that can communicate with the LAN2RS232.
