Review of Linux Compatibility
The Dell C1760nw is a LED color laser printer, which can be connected via USB, WiFi or Ethernet. This printer uses the protocol HBPL in version 1. This protocol version is not natively supported by Linux, only version 2 is supported.
However, the Dell C1760nw can be used with the drivers of the Xerox Phaser 6000 (see success story). Corresponding Linux drivers for the Xerox Phaser 6000 in DEB and RPM can be downloaded from the Xerox support site.
