Review of Linux Compatibility
The Mystique SaTiX-S2 Sky V2 USB is an external USB box to receive DVB-S2 at a Linux PC. The box has the USB ID
Bus 006 Device 002: ID 0572:6831 Conexant Systems (Rockwell), Inc.
The manufacturer DVBSky provides Linux drivers by their. Unfortunately, the drivers are not yet in the standard Linux kernel. The driver can be found at http://www.dvbsky.net/Support.html. There, one can also find an installation instruction.
In summary, one has to download and unpack the drivers. Afterwards, the make file has to be generated based on the used system, e.g. for 32bit Linux systems by
to compile and install the driver, i.e. the kernel module dvb_usb_dw2102, by:
make sudo make install
Furthermore, the firmware file “dvb-fe-ds3000.fw” has to be copied to /lib/firmware.
If the installation was successful, the module gets loaded by the kernel with the following message:

The Mystique SaTiX-S2 Sky V2 USB is shipped together with a remote. The USB box includes a infraread receiver that is supported by Linux:
